I’d read a lot of bad reviews on Google before booking, which scared me a bit, but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The staff were present and smiling, which explained the negative comments. The bedding was a little too firm for me, but the room was clean; there was no TV, which is fine because I’m not staying for leisure. The water was always hot, the pool was clean, etc. The bedding was too hard but it didn’t stop me from sleeping.

The only thing I can think of is the location; everything else was terrible. We had a Deluxe room that was filthy, smelled like sewage, had moldy pillows, only a thin sheet over a hard mattress, and we had to lay a towel over it. The old bathroom had a loose tap, curtains didn’t close, no enclosed balcony. Breakfast was the worst ever. We booked 5 nights but barely made it through 2; we found a nicer hotel a bit further away. The front desk staff only wanted to collect money and treated guests rudely. We heard many complaints from others. In short, look elsewhere.

Loud soldiers from the Israel Defense Force spray hate stickers on the walls, shout, and make noise at any hour. The staff say they’re aware and claim it’s improved over the years, but they can’t stop it. The front desk is open from morning until 10 pm, and sometimes you’re given a “private” number to call for issues. Still, some guests keep blasting drugs, alcohol, and loud music all night, and I saw this happening in several rooms across the large complex. I spoke with the front‑desk ladies who call themselves managers, but they admitted they’re not and there are no real managers on site. I can’t get contact details or the name of the owner or responsible parties for the complex.

The view is great. The staff are very unpleasant. There are no managers; everyone does whatever they want. No cocktails during the day—must wait until evening. The bathroom sink in the room is completely clogged, the air conditioner leaks (I had to put a trash bag underneath to avoid flooding; the dripping water sounds great). I was there three years ago and it was great, but now it’s nonsense. Thankfully the view is still amazing.
