The place sits in a great spot and the lady serving breakfast was genuinely friendly, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately the rooms felt like they’d seen better days – both showers were busted (one cracked, the other held together with tape), the carpet was speckled with stains, and the TV was an ancient set with broken sockets. The beds were a nightmare; every spring was audible, they creaked with any movement and the mattress made me feel queasy if I tried to lift it.

“Für ein paar Stunden schlafen (nach einer Hochzeit) war es ok”

Check‑in was quick and we got an early start on breakfast, which was convenient. The room, however, was missing basic toilet paper, the carpet—though vacuumed—had obvious stains, and the bed kept squeaking loudly whenever we shifted.

The food was tasty, the view over the hills lovely, and the staff were both friendly and helpful; plus the price with breakfast included felt like a real bargain. On the downside, the rooms were very thin‑walled—you could hear every word from the next room—and the balcony wasn’t separated from the neighboring room at all. The TV looked like it belonged in the ’90s, and a few fixtures seem unsafe and definitely need fixing.

The countryside setting was wonderful and the breakfast was top‑notch, but the lack of air‑conditioning made the summer heat almost unbearable.
