“Gross”
After a 28‑hour drive, I arrived at 2 am and checked in at 7 am, paying an extra €60.00 for early arrival, which seemed acceptable if the room were clean. Instead, the carpet was covered in dirt and food, the room smelled damp and like cigarettes, and one bed had a bug while the sheets and pillowcases were stained. I requested another room, but it was dirty too, with sheets that had pee stains. I went back to the front desk to ask for a refund and offered to show them the issues; they refused and said they had 18 other guests who hadn’t complained, which was disheartening. I stayed there eight years ago and it was clean and well kept; this experience was a definite decline.
