The hotel and its seaside setting are lovely, but the room felt gloomy, the lighting was harsh white, and it wasn’t very clean.

The room was gorgeous with an uninterrupted sea view, the bathroom was spacious and the water pressure was great, and the staff responded quickly and were very friendly; the sister property Ursula serves excellent food and lets you spend a relaxed day on the beach, though sand flies start appearing on the beach from about 16:00.

“Schön und relaxt”

The rooms are very nice and comfortable with sea views, just a short lane away from the water, in a pleasantly quiet and authentic village that’s perfect for unwinding, but meals are only available at the main Ursula hotel, which is a 10‑minute walk along the beach.

The room was cute and the staff were kind and helpful, yet the room sits on the road rather than within the resort, and the resort itself is hard to reach on foot because the tide comes in after dark, making it impossible to get there without wading in water; there’s no road leading to the main resort (where the restaurant is) and no nearby alternatives for food or drinks, while trips to nearby towns are pricey compared to local rates, so without a vehicle you’re stuck on this paradisiacal but inevitably boring beach, and because there are no other options for hiring transfers or scooters, the resort charges high prices.

The location is dreamy with sea views, the peace of the village and village life, and the staff were attentive and overall fantastic.
