The room was comfortable and spotless, and the free parking—whether on the street or in a gas company lot—was a real relief since parking near the centre is tough. The shared coffee machine and helpful staff added to the experience. The only downside was that the family room I booked, advertised as having an outside space, actually had no terrace; the breakfast was limited to a coffee and a croissant at a nearby bistro, which was tidy and welcoming.

The room was spacious and adequate. Breakfast consisted of a cup of coffee and a croissant, so we had to go to a nearby bar, where the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was fairly roomy, especially the small living area with a sofa and a table for meals. The photos misrepresented the place; there were roadworks on the street and the scenery was not great—almost felt abandoned. The owner was not very helpful or available, and on Saturday and Sunday afternoons most services were closed. The bus stop was about 600–700 metres away. The hotel provided only two towels and one roll of toilet paper for two days, and the bathroom was tiny. It’s 6–7 kilometres from the city centre, so I would never return.

The brioche were excellent, but there was no cup for tea, so I expected more from breakfast. The spread could be better: no milk for yogurt, no fruit jam on biscuits. The sheets were all wrinkled and there was dust on the bed net.
