The house was huge and flooded with light, clearly cared for. We spent hours in the lovely garden, which was perfect for both relaxing and playing, and the BBQ set‑up with that massive table made the evenings a blast. The chilled pool was just right for cooling off in the heat and kept the kids entertained, so we’ll definitely be back.

Quiet, peaceful surroundings and fresh air greeted us, plus the host was really friendly. The countryside cottage had everything we needed for a smooth stay, and we never felt anything was missing.

The place was spacious, with a garden and a tiny pool that was perfect after our mountain hikes, and the layout made sharing the common areas easy. Its location gave us quick access to the Rila lakes, the monastery and the beautiful scenery around them. The host was lovely and gave us solid tips, although the beds were a bit stiff, they were still usable.

A simple, calming house out in the country that let us unwind without any fuss.

The cleaning seemed to have been done decades ago, just like the mattresses, and there were tiny bugs in the beds that left me waking up with bites all over. Basically everything about the place was off.
