The place was a real haven—so calm and peaceful. The only hiccup was the TV; the reception was spotty and made it hard to catch a show. Still, the overall vibe was great.

We booked on a whim for a birthday weekend and it turned out to be spot on. The setting is cozy, quiet, and serene, with a well-appointed space and a hearty breakfast spread. Nearby farmers markets and a tasty Kyneton restaurant made the trip extra special, and the hosts were friendly yet respectful of our privacy. Rainy night, but we still loved it and will definitely come back.

This place was a beautiful and soothing escape. We had everything we needed and then some, making it a perfect spot to unwind.

Everything was top-notch—great coffee and tea, plenty of glasses, and a generous breakfast. The couch and bed were super comfy, almost luxurious. The hosts were available when needed but let us have our space. We had a fantastic stay and plan to return.

The property is gorgeous, clean, and super comfy, complete with fresh flowers and a lovely bath that stole the show. We spotted hares, kangaroos, and a duck-filled dam on the grounds, and the dark sky lets you see a ton of stars. It’s close to Hanging Rock, Trentham Falls, Daylesford, and other spots, so there’s plenty to explore. A hammock, a fixed basketball hoop, and peanut butter on the breakfast spread would push it to an 11/10, but it’s already a fantastic retreat.
