The location was fine. The room felt more like a hostel than a hotel, with no hot water pressure, barely enough to shower, and a bath that was impossible. I booked and paid for two nights but only stayed one, and breakfast was not properly arranged (7:30 to 8:30 on a weekend???).

The staff were lovely and the room was very clean. The fittings in the room were very dated, looking like a cheap motel room in the USA.

Easy walk to Weston Favell shopping centre and a bus stop not too far away to get to Northampton centre. The only day breakfast was served was on a Sunday and a stair carpet had a clump of cream or some such material for a couple of days without being cleaned
