“Great jungle location with lovely staff and excellent trips”

Great place right in the jungle by a river where you can swim and explore. Great staff, especially Donni who is really friendly and helpful with the catering and who also took us out on a bike for the night trek where we saw a slow loris. The jungle creek was excellent with Ali and Rafki who helped us and guided us to get really close to the orangutans. We loved our trip and hope we can come back as there is so much more to do there. Nothing to add.

“Fantasyboek verblijf in de jungle!”

Fantastisch team Daardoor ook een geweldige trekking gedaan! Prachtige locatie midden in de jungle De 20 min op de scooter er naartoe zijn een beleving Heerlijk eten Lekker zwemmen in de rivier Veel apen en soms een varaan Onze kinderen hebben ook echt genoten. Het is basic, maar dat is prima Geen airco, geen chique gestylde kamer Soms wat stroom uitval Maar dat hoort erbij en wordt goedgemaakt door de sfeer en locatie

“Fabulous place!”

Great location, just outside the town and surrounded by beautiful nature, close to a lovely small river with access for swimming. The rooms were clean and spacious with large bathrooms and comfortable beds. Ours had a terrace with seating overlooking the garden. The restaurant serves a range of good food. The staff are friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We did a one night jungle trek organised through the accommodation which was a great experience. We saw orangutans and several other species of ape. Our guides were great and even took my son fishing in the evening which he loved. The food was fantastic and we all enjoyed tubing back along the river the next day. We also did an interesting guided night walk and saw many interesting creatures. Access to the guest house is via motorbike only and we were met and delivered back to the town with all our luggage when needed. It was fun and all part of the experience. A great place to stay!

“Wonderful Sumatran jungle experience!”

Great accommodation at the borders of the jungle. we stayed here four nights with our kids of eight and 11 years old, and it was one of the highlights of our holiday. We loved the room with great views on the garden and the jungle behind it.in the afternoon it was great to take a swim in the river.the restaurant served very good food, and the live music in the evening was truly special. Also, we went on a two days one night jungle trekking, which we loved a lot. Mowgli and the other guides gave us a great adventure, with many sightings of wildlife.the facilities in the jungle were basic but very well for a unique night in the jungle.also it was very nice that everything was tailored to our needs as a family with to small children. They have made a great experience they will not forget, including the trip back on the rafts.I definitely recommend to book your holiday in Bukit Lawang with Batu Kapal! Special shout out to the staff, you are great!. The location is outside of the center of Bukit Lawang. It takes a short trip on the back of a motorcycle, conveniently organized by the great staff.we loved this very much and it contributed to a great experience.also the beautiful location in a beautiful jungle setting is a reason why we chose this accommodation. If you appreciate a more touristy area with several restaurants and bars, then you might look for something in the center of Bukit Lawang
