Das Personal gibt sich sehr Mühe, und die Lage am Fluss ist sehr schön, aber ohne eigenes Transportmittel ist es schwierig zu erreichen. Wir konnten die Kayaks gratis benutzen, weil es während unseres Aufenthalts kein heißes Wasser gab. Leider ist es sehr heruntergekommen. Es war mal schön, aber jetzt ist es in einem schlechten Zustand. Das Schwimmbad hat schmutziges Wasser, kein heißes Wasser, und die Möbel sind kaputt. Im Restaurant fehlen viele Artikel, obwohl sie als „special of the day“ angeboten werden, und das gilt auch für die Drinks. Das Restaurantpersonal bemüht sich jedoch sehr, und die Barkeeper sind sehr nett.

“Horrible”

This property has very few redeemable qualities, but some of the staff, like most Fijian people, were very lovely. However, the significant shortfalls of this property cannot be made up for. Between the cockroaches in our room and the ants and a cat in the dining room, we weren’t the only guests in the hotel. This is not a resort at all; the place is literally falling apart, with no effort made to maintain it or keep it clean. The area is littered with rubbish, and finding a clean surface anywhere is a struggle. Towels and toilet paper were not refreshed in our room during our 3‑night stay; we had to ask reception for toilet paper to take back to our room. I asked for fresh towels a few times and was told either the maid wasn’t in or they were in the laundry. We never got any towels. The pool is green and I wouldn’t go in if you paid me. No bottled water was provided, and we were charged 13 dollars for a bottle of water. They say breakfast is included, but it’s just cornflakes, bread, butter, and instant coffee from a sachet; there is no toaster, only bread. If you want a cooked breakfast you have to pay for it; it’s not included. The food we did eat there was underwhelming. My first mistake was booking this place (don’t trust the photos—they are very misleading). My second mistake was staying there after seeing it. I should have just gone somewhere else. We went to The Uprising resort down the road for dinner and a show, and it was fantastic even though we weren’t staying there; we wish we had, and it’s not much more expensive than this place. This place is very cheap for a reason. Avoid it like the plague—you will likely contract something if you stay here.
