The location is a highlight: a bus stop right in front of the hotel lets you cheaply take the bus to Çeşme, and the old town of Alaçatı and the beach are about 15–20 minutes on foot. Unfortunately we can’t recommend this hotel. The promised daily room cleaning only happened when we asked, and fresh towels and toilet paper were only replenished after we explicitly requested them. The Turkish breakfast costs 850 TL for two people, which would normally be fair, but we increasingly felt the portions shrank each day once we realized we weren’t ordering extra items; for example, there was only one egg for two people or two slices of cheese for two people, without explanation. The biggest disappointment was the treatment of us German guests: the hosts spoke neither German nor English and were not very helpful. The service lady sat with her phone in a corner most of the day and night, giving the impression that it was more annoying to ask her for anything; sometimes she seemed irritated when we made a request. Our room was about 11 m², quite small, with a tiny wardrobe. The hotel also had three small dogs that barked all day and night, ran around during breakfast, and even urinated right next to the breakfast area on the lawn, which was very uncomfortable for us. I’ve stayed in many small, family‑run hotels in Turkey and usually had very warm, hospitable experiences, but we never felt as unfriendly or unwelcome as we did here. It increasingly seemed that the goal was to make profit as easily as possible without giving much value to service and hospitality. The Wi‑Fi was also extremely bad; without our own eSIM we would have been practically stranded.
