“Beautiful quaint hotel”
The hotel is well‑located, a beautiful quaint little place with a nice breakfast and pool. It’s within walking distance of the gorgeous Orkas beach. The host was willing to help with activities and organize transfers to and from the ports. Nothing negative; it was just excellent.
The location is very good. The fact that it hasn’t been renovated, yet it’s clean, makes it personally charming and somewhat nostalgic. Few such hotels remain that evoke the architecture and aesthetic of modern Greek history, and in a few years they’ll all fade away. We saw the breakfast and just turned around for the lovely village cafés. There’s a relative variety but the quality is very questionable… I get the comments that praise it. The price now… I understand the law of supply and demand, but given the hotel’s provisions we ended up with a damped feeling. If it had, for example, a very good breakfast, a reception that doesn’t close at noon, hours that make it very likely you’ll reach your destination in the heat, and minimal attention to details, it would be acceptable… I won’t comment on the staff, because I don’t think people are at fault.
“Great stay in the heart of Lakka”
The hotel is great, with a swimming pool offering fab views and lovely staff; it’s a good spot to stay while in Lakka, just a walk to restaurants and shops, and they even provide transfers to Gaois. However, there are a lot of stairs, so it isn’t suitable if you have mobility issues.
“Great place to stay nice chilled atmosphere”
The hotel is lovely, the room is clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water. The swimming pool is great, with thick‑foam sunbeds and pleasant background music. Breakfast is included and had everything you need; the bacon was a bit under‑cooked for me, but I asked the lady to cook it more and she did, making it crispy and perfect for me 😃. We were on the 3rd floor, which is a bit of a hike since there’s no lift. Some people might struggle, but someone helped with luggage, so it wasn’t an issue.
I was picked up from the port by Babi, who’s an excellent manager, and he drove me back afterward; the owner really cares about the property, and everything here is fantastic.
