“Excellent traditional B&B with incredible hosts.”
The room and interior feel brand new and are very well equipped, yet the building and property are designed with a traditional feel. The surrounding landscape is wonderful, and it’s a good drive to many interesting places. The breakfast included fruit grown on their property, and the grapes were genuinely the tastiest I can remember eating. I was also given some chillis from the garden which were indeed hot. The patience, flexibility and hospitality of the hosts was incredible. I arrived much later than I had originally indicated, but Francesca was very patient and waited around until 11 pm for me to check in. When I left one day, I realized I had a flat tyre. Francesca had mentioned to contact her if I needed anything, so I messaged her. No exaggeration, she arrived with a mechanic in about 6 minutes, and I was driving again in about 15‑20 minutes. We should not expect that kind of generosity and patience from hosts, don’t be like me. But I am so grateful.
