The host was very friendly, the accommodation was great (old but well renovated manor), and the breakfast was tasty. Châteaugiron is nearby, and there are other castles to visit. In the village itself there are few places to eat; without a rental car or bike you can’t get far.

We were blown away by the accommodation and would have loved to stay longer; the host was wonderful and we bought her amazing apricot jam; the property was charming with romantic touches, the breakfast was great, and there was covered parking in the courtyard of the former estate.

The large estate offered plenty of parking that was easy to find in the town centre, and we had the entire mansard area, meaning a room, a bathroom with toilet, and a private lounge. The reception by the hostess was very warm, and she gave us tips for local spots in the neighbouring village of Châteaugiron, which is also worth seeing. Breakfast in a very tastefully decorated room was superb, especially the homemade jams, apple juice, and regional products. However, large people need to be careful not to bump into the slanted surfaces of the mansard.
