I booked through booking for 1,500,000 pesos, but when I arrived I was charged 1,80,000 pesos instead. The place itself was pleasant, but the price discrepancy was a real let‑down.

Good location and breakfast, fair price. The building is old and heritage-listed, but the elevator and entrance need updating; at night they open with a rope instead of a modern system.

The room was a disappointment, yet the staff were 10/10. The hotel is beautiful with a prime location and the staff are very friendly and attentive, and I understand it’s an old colonial property which adds to its charm. However, the outside noise was excessive and we couldn’t sleep all night, so given the price and the room we were given, I think there are better value options.
