“Bon emplacement... dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de vrais rideaux et une bonne insonorisation”
The place is in a very good spot, close to the metro and Dotonbori. The accommodation is large, the bedding is comfortable, and it’s well equipped with a washing machine, etc. On Booking it says “Suite Familiale avec Balcon,” but there’s no balcony. The soundproofing is poor—single‑pane windows let in all the street noise, especially on weekends when motorcycles, cars, and drunken people shouting downstairs are audible. There are no blackout curtains or shutters, so the room stays very bright day and night, making it impossible to sleep in the main room with the two beds; I managed to sleep with my son in the smaller room with futons, which is a bit darker. The elevator shaft and landing are old and smell of the restaurant on the ground floor.
