The hotel’s location, rooms, and modern design were great. The pool was small and the rooms were small.

The room itself was nice, comfortable, and generally pleasant to stay in. Breakfast was decent and varied slightly from day to day — I would rate it around 4/5. There is also a CU convenience store inside the hotel, which is very useful for buying drinks, snacks, beer, tea, and other small essentials. The front desk staff were also able to communicate in English. The main issue is that the overall experience does not feel like a 5-star hotel. Our room was advertised with a terrace/garden area, but in reality the road is only about 10 metres away, separated by a low hedge. You can clearly see pedestrians and cars, and they can see you as well, so there is very little privacy. This also makes it uncomfortable to leave the terrace door open for fresh air, especially at night, and there seemed to be no proper fresh-air ventilation in the room. The terrace itself was not prepared to a 5-star standard either. The canopy above it had a clearly visible layer of dust and dirt that had been smeared by rainwater. Housekeeping came at around noon, but the bed linen was not changed. The housekeeping request system is also poorly designed: the indicator can only be activated while you are inside the room, and there is no traditional door sign. There are many smaller details that also reduce the feeling of a premium hotel. Tea is provided with disposable paper cups, the light switches are simply labelled 1, 2, 3 and 4, and the TV has almost no English-language content apart from Discovery. There is no Netflix, YouTube, or other streaming option. Nobody met us at the entrance or offered help with luggage, so we had to take our suitcases ourselves through long carpeted corridors. The carpet also makes heavy luggage much harder to roll and, in my opinion, is not the most practical choice for hotel corridors. The pool is very small, there are no beach amenities, and the hotel has almost no grounds to walk around in the evening. Breakfast is acceptable, but lunch and dinner were much less impressive. A number of items seemed to overlap with breakfast, even the same brownie appearing again as a paid dessert later in the day. We tried lunch at the hotel and found the selection uninspiring; the beef ravioli I ordered did not feel anywhere close to 5-star restaurant quality. The restaurants also seemed unusually empty

It was convenient because it was close to the Zhongmun Tourist Complex large hotel. It feels a bit old.
