The hotel was awful with the worst staff ever! We asked for towels, they gave them to us, and we thought it was a deposit that would be refunded when we checked out, but we actually bought them and they’re now ours, which we weren’t warned about. The front‑desk administrator said, “I should have told you about this, sorry.”

The food quality was pretty good, though the variety was limited; the dining and bar staff were very friendly, especially Francisco, who always had a smile, unlike the reception staff who were quite cold. I didn’t like that, as a 4‑star all‑inclusive, the room had no single bottle of water in the fridge and no bathroom set; the wardrobe was dusty and the elevators were very old and inadequate for a 9‑floor building. Nobody warned that there was no pool towel service, so if you don’t bring one you have to buy it, which is incomprehensible for a 4‑star.

“the stay was pleasant overall”

The food was excellent, and both catering and room service were very good. The only problem was that the elevators don’t fit a 4‑star rating – they’re slow, cramped, lack ventilation, and close too quickly, which can be an issue for elderly or disabled guests; they’re not enough for a 9‑storey building, so further refurbishment is needed.

The pool area is nice and the hotel is clean. There are no coffee facilities as advertised, the food options are not great, it doesn’t feel like a 4‑star, and the wine is undrinkable.
