“Peaceful lodging, fabulous view”

A cheerful young man at check‑in greeted me at 9 pm, and the facility was spotless and very comfortable; the curtains stayed open all night, letting me watch small planes and shooting stars, which was incredibly peaceful. I used the lower deck and Adirondack chairs for night sky viewing, but I would have liked a continental breakfast or buffet; on that day the only option was a la carte.

The hotel was stunning with an amazing view, the restaurant offered classic American food that was pretty good, all staff were very friendly, and waking up to such a view was the best part—everything was great!

“We enjoyed exploring the surrounding nature and waterfalls.”

The buffet breakfast had good choices and quality, but at this remote spot it would be better to include breakfast in the room rate. Dinner with a gorgeous sunset view was delicious, especially the trout; I loved the view from the back deck and that every room had the same view. Unfortunately, the breakfast was underwhelming because a large group depleted many items—coffee, orange juice, bowls, plates, utensils—so refilling took a long time. Our room was a bit small, and the elevator was very slow; a second elevator would help for a four‑floor building.

The location was absolutely gorgeous, the facility was clean, and the staff were warm and welcoming; nothing was bad.

The restaurant was nice, offering good value and a variety of food choices, and the location was convenient; staff were clean and friendly. However, construction on the fourth floor made hammering audible in the room from about 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, which definitely spoiled the ambience.
