“A éviter si ANNOT est votre objectif”
The staff were very friendly and the room was clean. It’s a lie to read that the hotel is in ANNOT when you book; it’s actually in ROUANNE, 8 km away, and there’s no transport for those of us who arrive by train in ANNOT. No bus, no taxi… Luckily, a helpful man drove me to the hotel! The place is hidden in nature with no activities, so I’d advise against it for those without a car. (See the photo of the room key.) The bathroom smells like sewage and there’s no proper dining service.

I don’t know, I couldn’t stay! I booked through Booking, got the confirmation, and when I arrived on my motorcycle, tired after 600 km, the hotel was closed even though the sign read “open.” No one answered the phone number listed in the booking. Only after hours did a message arrive in which the owners apologized, but during that weekend the hotel was shut. They could have called to confirm I’d received the message. Luckily, even though the weekend was busy, I found a room quite close at 20:00. The managers’ behaviour was terrible!
