“Very good, enjoyed the place, service and personnel”
Breakfast was good, laid out nicely, and met our needs. The lock on our door didn’t work properly.

This was our 4th time staying at the Arrow. We love it! The rooms are beautiful and clean, however, most people will never stay there as Broken Bow Nebraska is not exactly a tourist destination. We try to arrange our route to stay there on our cross country drives. The Bonfire restaurant, located in the historic part of the hotel, has amazing food

The restaurant’s location and ambiance were great, though we didn’t eat there this time. We’ve stayed there before and the breakfast was outstanding, so I can’t comment on how it is now. When we arrived, the living area was 77 °F and the sleeping area 75 °F, and the air conditioner in the living area was blowing warm air. I told the staff, and they said they’d bleed the air out of the system so it would cool eventually, and they brought a cheap box fan. After three hours there was no change, so the room felt stuffy and uncomfortable. When I tried to shower, the faucet seemed stuck and I worried it might pull out of the wall. They fixed that, but then said the AC could take an eternity to start working. That was unacceptable. The furniture was tired and sagging, and the room was past its prime. When we told them the room wasn’t acceptable, they said they couldn’t switch us because we’d booked it. We decided to cut our losses and move to a different hotel, hoping to get most of our money back. When we checked out and returned the keys, they told us we’d have to contact them for a refund. I spent an hour at the new place trying to reach the 24/7 help advertised on the website, but there was no email or phone number, only a prompt to log in and a batch of generic FAQ’s. I finally sent a message, and the AI said it was forwarded to an agent, but that was the last I heard until I got the obligatory “How was your stay?” email. Our stay was terrible, the support was terrible, and I believe a full refund is appropriate for all the trouble we endured. I await your reply. Thank you.

The mattress and pillows were incredibly comfortable. In many hotels I’ve stayed at, everything feels cheap and 20 years old, but in this historic building I was pleasantly surprised. It’s good value for the money, clean, and the breakfast is delicious.
