Logis Hotel De La Poste

The reception was very nice, with a very friendly and warm staff. The room was very decent and pleasant. The only small drawback: the bathroom was a bit small. Overall, I had a very good stay and I recommend it! On the other hand, several negative points should be mentioned. There was no functional internet connection and I could not connect to Wi‑Fi. For me, this was especially problematic because I could not work during my stay. Breakfast was also a bit disappointing. There was no buffet, everything was already set on the table, with few choices. The yogurt was at room temperature and the orange juice was already served in a glass on the table. Overall, the reception and the friendliness of the staff are very appreciated, but some improvements, especially regarding the internet connection and breakfast, would be welcome.

The hotel felt comfortable and the room was pleasant. Some staff members were not friendly; a simple “good morning” at breakfast would have been nice. There was also a lack of information about the missing elevator and the three‑day annual festival happening below the room windows.

The room was very spacious, impeccably clean, and the furniture and equipment were of high quality. Every detail was considered for perfect comfort, with excellent bedding and soft percale sheets. The walk‑in shower was very roomy. The reception staff and the owner, who also runs the hotel’s restaurant, were kind. The food was fresh, local, tasty, balanced, and generous, offering great value. Breakfast was a real delight—plentiful, with homemade blackberry jam, and a wonderful shared experience. Staying at the hotel‑restaurant La Poste in St Sauves d’Auvergne feels like being in a cocoon; it’s hard to leave! Congratulations to the owner and thanks for everything. Everything was perfect.
