“Lovely apartment in stunning location”
The apartment was spacious enough for four people, yet it felt cozy for the two of us. It sits right on the canal beside a charming pub. However, there was a microwave but no plates or cutlery, so you couldn't cook a meal unless you brought take‑out. The stairs are steep, which makes it difficult for anyone with mobility issues.
“Gates and shut pub were annoying.”
There was nothing positive to mention. The pub next door stayed shut in the evenings and only opened at 11 am. At 74, I’m in fairly good health, but the two massive iron gates were a real struggle to open and close.
“Stayed 4 times.. says it all”
The location and facilities were superb, and it was very dog‑friendly. There was nothing negative to report.
“Confortable stay”
The room was roomy, the bed comfortable, and the heating responded quickly. On the downside, there was no coffee table, the small TV was mounted too high on the wall, and the shower curtain was too short.
“Going home”
The accommodation was excellent, located close to the town centre and the football club.
