La Perla Preziosa feels old-fashioned but well kept; the room was super clean, nicely furnished with everything needed, and the bathroom, though small, had a window and was well organized. The air‑conditioner was super efficient and quiet, giving me great rest during this hot summer. The train noise is barely audible. There is no elevator. The hotel relies on Eurotel for reception, breakfast, and dinner, but being just ten metres away causes no problem. Light lunch is served at the typical restaurant right below La Perla Preziosa. The staff are young, organized, friendly, and smiling, and I liked the animation girl a lot. Breakfast is excellent, and lunch and dinner were not disappointing in taste. Unfortunately the portions are very small; if someone follows a low‑carb diet for health reasons this could be an issue. The vegetable buffet is sparse—just salad, pickles, and tomatoes. In summer there might be a bit of grilled zucchini or ratatouille, but more cooked vegetables would broaden the selection. If you don't take the first dish you leave hungry. Today the mussel soup lunch was very disappointing; a tiny plate of shells and, if you didn't order something else (and pay for it), you really ate nothing. The quantity was truly insufficient. Light lunch is fine, but it was almost like a snack—ten mussels and a green salad, some empty bowls, almost fasting.
