It turned out to be a charming getaway not too far from town, with a cozy atmosphere and comfy rooms. The food was tasty and the staff were friendly and helpful, and the nearby Little Padstal was a great spot for extra coffee, snacks, and delicious pies.

The place is right next to the southern main connection B1 toward South Africa, which is supposedly named… The noise level is overwhelming. Wi‑Fi is practically nonexistent even though the nearest MTC transmission tower is only about 1 km away. It can’t always be MTC’s fault. When booking, one room was listed and booked, but a 2‑person tent was assigned. The reservation was accepted even while a large wedding party was also present at the same time.

The on‑site restaurant was convenient for an overnight stop, but it’s outdated, poorly maintained, and the online photos paint a much better picture than reality.
