“Convenient location and decent stay, but only for those who are not sensitive to noise and are ok with sharing 1 toilet.”

The hotel sits right next to the bus station, so catching the tourist shuttle was a snap, and it’s also close to Tie Hua, which really lights up at night. Even though the toilet had a smell, the room itself was cleaner than I’d expect, and the air‑con was strong and refreshing. The single toilet in the six‑bed dorm was a bit of a hassle at times, and the towel that came with the room was just a face towel. Being so close to Tie Hua means you’ll hear noise and music until 10 pm, so it’s not ideal if you’re sensitive to sound. There’s no front desk on the floor, so you have to go to another building for any help, which meant I didn’t interact much with staff.

I’m not sure if the strong smell in the backpacker dorm’s bathroom was due to poor ventilation or the roommate’s habits; the bathroom had a noticeable odor, the room itself felt damp, but otherwise there were no issues.

The location was super convenient, which deserves a shout‑out; the room came with a hair dryer, kettle, towels, water, tea bags, and a cup. The bunk beds were fine, the overall design was good, and each bed had a small lamp and power socket, plus a desk—an impressive little space. The downside is the noise from the main road and the doors of other guests opening and closing. The self‑check‑in kiosk could use a feature that lets guests enter information manually if the sensor fails, so you don’t have to call customer service for help.
