“Tutto perfetto. 5 giorni davvero magnifici trascorsi qui e nella circostante regione del Chianti.”
The property is wonderful, perfectly positioned with stunning views. The Pantera apartment, with reserved parking, has a small garden with loungers and a charming terrace with table, chairs and umbrella. The view is spectacular. Inside the apartment I found many sweet items for breakfast, a pod coffee machine already supplied, and an American coffee maker and moka pot with a fresh coffee pack. The kitchen, with oven and dishwasher, has everything needed to cook. You can have lunch and dinner at the restaurant, normally open from Friday evening to Sunday evening. The lady in charge is always ready to give information, suggestions, and help if needed. The road is gravel but easily passable even for normal cars, just be careful at the start of the gravel for a short steep climb. Following the gravel road leads to a beautiful lake, also private to the farm, with benches, loungers and umbrellas.
“Good Staff, Agro touristic feeling.”
The stay felt genuinely agrotouristic, with Tuscan views that were hard to beat. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the living room was spacious with everything we needed. They also gave us useful information to navigate the area. On the downside, the beds could be improved for better sleep quality, and we were visiting during a heat wave so an air‑conditioning unit would have been welcome. The bathroom also needs a fix‑up, but I'm sure the owners are aware of these issues.
“Wir können die Unterkunft nicht empfehlen.”
The house was big and the location absolutely quiet. Coffee, milk, water, tea, and dish soap were provided, even for the dishwasher, which is not something you expect. We were very disappointed and couldn't understand the previous rating. We were greeted nicely and taken to the nearby lake, but the car was a garbage dump. First impressions were good. The apartment was very dark and had overheated, as it seemed unused for a long time and the roof acted like a radiator. After three days the heat subsided enough to sleep somewhat. The apartment was generally clean, but if the cork still sits on the corkscrew, the coffee capsule sticks in the machine, corks are in the drawer, and cigarette butts litter the terrace, it doesn't meet our expectations. The reception was unstaffed, phone communication was impossible (only Italian), and the restaurant was closed. We left a day early. Reception was again unstaffed.
“Nel mezzo del Chianti”
The lake is very beautiful and you’re in contact with nature. The welcome is the best, everyone is very friendly, the house is huge with a dishwasher and barbecue, and restaurants are very close (in Gaiole in Chianti). The biggest flaw is the road; it’s a bit rough for my Y10, but the farm can’t be blamed; I recommend a suitable car for the white roads.
The setting was lovely. The period we stayed was very hot.
