Tariq was a very good host.

The Riad is stunning with a gorgeous terrace for breakfast, watching the sunset, and a cooler breeze in the evening. Tariq welcomed us with Moroccan tea, water, and dates. He is very attentive and helpful, and he definitely made our stay better. He offers a transfer service from the airport to the Riad. Take‑away breakfast is available if you’re not in time to sit down. The terrace breakfast includes Moroccan crepes, eggs, jams, butter, orange juice, tea, and latte coffee. The only flaw we noticed was a slight sewage smell in the bathroom after the shower, which passed through the ventilation. The room was the right size. That said, I would gladly return.

If there were an Oscar for hosts, Tariq would be a top contender. The welcome was fantastic, he gave plenty of advice, always kind. The riad is cute and well maintained, breakfast is excellent, the location is very convenient for moving around the old city yet still very quiet. Thanks for the great hospitality. Occasionally the shower had low pressure and temperature fluctuations, but it wasn’t a big issue.
