The place is stunning: the setting, the service quality, and Massimo’s dedication to make our stay unforgettable. I rarely see such a focus on guest wellbeing; everything leans toward excellence. Every detail is crafted with jeweler‑like precision. The décor feels like Disneyland, immersing us in Victorian times with a unique contemporary Art‑deco twist that dazzles the eye. We keep scanning every corner of each room to catch every bit of the fairy‑tale atmosphere this paradise offers. The linens smell pleasantly fresh. The grass is cut like a feather and caresses our feet. The stone pool is a true haven of peace, and its tower toilet (see photos) feels like a time‑travel experience! The breakfast is exceptional—varied, generous, and full of options. We’re pampered. Massimo has a rare quality: he performs his ambassador role flawlessly, switching from Italian to English to French with remarkable ease. The only slight drawback is the tight, winding path to the mountain summit; the narrow road made me sweat a bit, and seeing a car pass was nerve‑racking—who should back up several meters to let the other go? Thankfully, those worries vanish upon arrival. The location is so extraordinary that the travel difficulties are quickly forgotten, and it’s well worth it.

Breakfast was excellent. The hotel has only about 5 rooms, so you sit with just a few people in a winter garden during breakfast. The staff is very friendly. In the kitchen you can grab free cakes and fruit. The property is well maintained with a great view of Como. The only downside: the room was small. The room was quite small.
