The Shangbar in Jispa offers a tranquil garden, spacious terrace, and on‑site restaurant with panoramic mountain views. Each room includes a private bathroom with bath and shower, electric kettle, parquet flooring, and a balcony overlooking the peaks. A 24‑hour front desk staffed in English and Hindi, free private parking, and proximity to Kullu‑Manali Airport (136 km) enhance convenience.

Everything was excellent. Nothing as such

Nothing good to say. The staff was super greedy and refused to chat with me; even when I spoke politely they kept being rude.

I was looking for a quiet place near Jispa for a couple of nights and stumbled on this amazing spot, tucked off the highway amid mountains with ice‑capped peaks. The rooms were standard but the amenities were nice. The food was freshly cooked and delicious; the sea buckthorn tea was just awesome. The owners, Mr. Tanzin Tashi and his family, along with the staff, looked after us with care. The 200‑year‑old historic mud fort, the Khangsar Palace, is a few minutes’ walk away. I highly recommend it if you want to explore offbeat places. A few small things could be better: an exhaust fan in the bathroom would help, the pakoda wasn’t prepared the way it should be, and the Wi‑Fi was spotty.
