It’s very pretty, surrounded by trees with great views. The bed is comfortable, there are nice extras like fruit, crisps, and a good tea selection. There’s plenty of parking and a nice breakfast. The on‑site farm shop is great, though it’s a bit pricey (not more than other farm shops!). I didn’t realize my room was three floors up, which made mobility a challenge; more accessibility info would help.

The location is lovely. Breakfast at the farmhouse was delicious and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The first room we got was small, smelled strongly of urine, and hadn’t been cleaned properly—there was still a previous occupant’s shirt hanging in the wardrobe. We told the staff at the farm shop, who were kind and agreed the room was unacceptable, and moved us to another room that was lovely but dusty. We had to get a cloth and wipe down everything. By the time we finished moving and checking in, we were too late to book a dinner table, so we left the hotel and found another restaurant. It was supposed to be a relaxing stay but ended up being very stressful and disappointing.

The place was spotlessly clean, the bed was huge and super comfy. The room décor and the location with its stunning views were lovely. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic, with a great variety of high‑quality cooked items. I’d come back if I’m in the area again. The only hiccup was that we brought our dog and there were no bins for waste bags, so we didn’t want to leave them for the cleaners on the last day.

Dinner and breakfast were both superb, and the facilities looked gorgeous. We were greeted warmly and treated like VIPs, and our rooms were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return someday. Nothing else to note – it was a very nice hotel and we loved it.
