Breakfast included a huge roll, a muffin, and instant porridge, costing 10€—not helping 5€ was too expensive. The size of the breakfast was a problem.

The price was supposed to include the clothing for the overnight stay, but the place turned out not to do that and I had to pay an unexpected extra fee. Somewhere there was a data outage. I also couldn’t order breakfast in the morning.

Etwas erhöht über dem Wasser gelegen. Sehr idyllisch. Sehr einfacher Standard. Veraltet

The staff were very helpful and friendly, and any request or small mishap was met with a smile. Having the lake so close is great for morning or evening swims, and there are beautiful forests to explore nearby. I walked the 18 km trail that starts 2 km from the hotel near the sports ground, and the supermarkets are also within walking distance (about 3 km). The room had a rather large fridge, and the hotel has a nice porch with comfortable chairs. Overall, it was a wonderful time. The room didn’t have a wardrobe, only a rack for jackets. I booked a two‑bed room for myself, so there was plenty of space, but it could feel cramped if two people with large suitcases stay together. Buses to and from Imatra don’t seem to run on Sundays (I couldn’t find any), so be ready to take a taxi from the train station in Imatra, which cost me 44 euros.
