Crazy Bears Hostel

It was absolutely lovely! The location is perfect: you’re on a busy street yet it still feels secluded because you’re not facing the main road. We rented a car and there’s a private parking area where we left it safely for the rest of our stay in Moalboal. The only issue was that during our stay only one shower worked; the private shower had no water, and the bamboo shower had a large gap that made it uncomfortable to use, but I still enjoyed my stay and it wasn’t a big deal to wait for one person to shower.

“Un lugar excelente si quieres conocer gente y compartir con otros viajeros.”

It’s well located, no car noise, and it’s a quiet place. The staff is super friendly and helps with everything. It’s great that they offer the option to book breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked perfectly. They have a WhatsApp community for travelers to stay informed and plan together. The bar was right across from the room and there was some activity every night, but luckily it closed at 11 pm. The curtain in my room was broken and almost fell on my head 😅

Amazing staff! The property is clean and well maintained, and the happy hours from 6 pm to 8 pm were really good. Nothing else was an issue; everything was very good.

“Perfect private rooms with strong WiFi for digital nomads”

I was right next to restaurants, cafés, and the beach, yet the place stayed quiet after 10 pm. I enjoyed the nightly activities that let you meet fellow travelers, but I could also rest peacefully if I didn’t feel like socializing. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Wi‑Fi was excellent for remote work and strong enough for Teams calls. The shared living space in the garden was lovely, and I appreciated that scooter rentals were available directly through the hostel, which was much easier than hunting a trustworthy company in town.

I liked how welcoming and accommodating the staff were; it was a lovely experience. Everything was fine, and you have to experience it every night—there’s a game night with dice 🎲.
