“Excellent base to explore the Blue Mountains”

The place is in the heart of the Blue Mountains, perfect for hiking to the peak or visiting coffee plantations. Shermaine was a very good host who gave us plenty of local recommendations. The food—both breakfast and dinner—was excellent, all classic Jamaican dishes. Our rooms in the main building were very comfortable. The common areas had comfy sofas and hammocks for relaxing. As a pleasant surprise, the top terrace is a great spot for bird watching, sunrise viewing, or stargazing. The outdoor gardens were well maintained, but adding a ping‑pong table would be a great addition.

I stayed at a gorgeous spot, both the accommodation and the outdoor setting right in the Blue Mountains. The night was a lovely experience, especially with the cool breeze. The staff were genuinely kind, and the café was just a two‑minute walk away.

“Dr Bird heaven !!!”

I liked the older‑style vibe of the property, which wasn’t too large. Dining outside and watching the birds was a treat, and the cats that begged for food just added character. I didn’t even bother with the TVs in the room; listening to the wildlife outside was enough. Charmaine, who looked after us, was friendly and welcoming—thanks, Charmaine 😍. I’d love to return.

“Sfeervolle accommodatie waar weinig te doen is”

Forres Park is a cozy accommodation in the Blue Mountains. The host upgraded our rooms because there were no other guests and was very helpful. She also made a delicious lunch and two excellent dinners. Before you go, think carefully about what you want to do here. The nearby coffee factory is nice for a tour, but otherwise there’s nothing to do. There are no trails or other activities. The road to Forres Park is challenging (full of potholes, bad asphalt), so you need a good four‑wheel drive to navigate the mountains.
