Everyone was great, the room was okay, and the hotel had a charming feel. It could use a little love, but work is underway. The location was perfect, and everything was fine for a few days.

The rooms were good value for a single night, comfortable, clean, and functional. The continental breakfast was provided in the room, which worked for us, though a cooked breakfast could be booked. The pub staff were lovely, and we also had a nice dinner there. Watching TV in the room was difficult, probably because the signal was weak. The bathroom was tiny, but that wasn’t a big issue for an overnight stay.

We expected dinner and a cooked breakfast the next morning, but the chef never showed up. The room was old and needed a thorough cleaning. The staff, one woman behind the bar in the pub, were not especially welcoming or friendly. I’ll never stay here again.
