How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.

We really enjoyed our stay. La Commenda sits on a farm with a beautiful view. The recently renovated house is very beautiful, fully fitted, easy to find, good communication, easy parking, and a straightforward drive, maybe 10‑15 minutes, into Matera. The real difference here, however, is the hosts. What lovely people, warm and helpful. We decided to have dinner at the property. What a treat. Home‑cooked and beautiful. Thank you. Highly recommended. Nothing in particular at all.

The structure is amazing, and the owners Giovanni and Luisa are extremely available. We had an injury while walking the Matera path, and they helped and supported us at every moment. They were truly wonderful. Nothing.
