“Liebevolles B&B an perfekter Lage”

I stayed at an exceptionally original and lovingly decorated B&B, perfectly positioned for visiting Abel Tasman NP and walking to dinner in the evening. The place sits in a very quiet, park‑like garden and every detail was crafted with great care. The host was warm and friendly, always ready for a chat, and her suggestions were incredibly useful and helpful. I felt truly cared for and welcomed.

I booked the main house with its own ensuite, which was beautifully decorated. It felt like living in the countryside while still being in the suburbs. The bed was super comfy with lovely linen, so I slept like a dream. It’s a great spot for an extended family, as the other cabins each have their own space. The area is nice for breakfast, and Leigh was a lovely host who offered great tips for dining out and places to visit.

Leigh is a wonderful host, and her home felt like a warm hug! It’s so cosy, and there’s so much to discover on the property! I felt like I was in a museum! Leigh paid so much attention to detail in the style and decoration of her property. I felt so relaxed and really enjoyed it.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and situated by a small stream, which made it very refreshing and relaxing. Nothing else to add.

The host was friendly. The room was clean, but very small and the shower/WC was really tiny and didn’t even have a hair dryer (when I asked, I had to share one with other guests). This place can be recommended if you appreciate a large garden. We’ve been traveling around New Zealand for a long time and this was the only accommodation that truly disappointed us, because the price/value didn’t match at all. It was the most expensive place we booked, and the common area including the breakfast area was not really clean and never cleaned during that week. We stayed a week and the room was never cleaned during that time. (The room was really clean, and we were glad about that.)
