The lack of an elevator felt odd, just my personal thought. For older guests, walking five floors to the room isn’t very comfortable.

I really didn’t understand why I’d stay here. No one was at the reception when I arrived; I had to call to get someone to come. The hotel has no elevator, so you have to climb stairs. The room offered was so small I could barely breathe. It had two separate beds; when I asked to move them, I was denied. I left the hotel without staying the night.

It seemed like a nice place if we could have stayed. Our reservation was cancelled between our arrival and being told the room would be ready in 30 minutes, and then another 30 minutes later. Apparently the rooms were taken for the SCO summit and beyond the hotel’s control. What was unacceptable was being told they’d booked another hotel for us and sent a taxi, but when we got there, that hotel had no booking and was full.

The breakfasts were the highlight of my visit.

The rooms were very large and spacious, and the bathroom was modern with a great view of the Bishkek Arena. We didn't mind the lack of an elevator, but reaching the fifth floor with heavy luggage was a bit of a trek.
