“Well done staff! A favorite stay in the Luberon again”

We stayed twice before (2020 and 2024). The 2024 visit wasn’t the best, especially compared to 2020 with the original owners, but 2026 was a great place to be again; the current owners have given it a full makeover, putting service and hospitality at its core. We loved the service at the pool area, the great food and outdoor kitchen, and the diner service was great; the rooms are very comfortable, and we look forward to spending more days at the hotel next time we visit the Luberon area.

“Authentisch provenzalisch, schönes Setting, gemütlich, an guter Lage für Ausflüge”

The décor is authentically Provencal, and the staff are friendly. The pool feels too small for a 15‑room hotel, and the food at Sous Les Platanes could use improvement, especially the grilled meats and fish; the breakfast buffet also has room for growth.

The establishment is well‑located in the calm green surroundings; the bathroom is old, and you can’t take a shower in the bathtub because there is no shower wall, we were in room n1, and the room’s amenities do not match the price of 200€.

Breakfast was good with a nice continental selection, and the garden restaurant under the trees is beautiful. The restaurant serves fine dishes, and the pool area is lovely with a bar. Rooms are spacious, clean, and have air conditioning, plus there’s a parking space for electric cars. The location is great for exploring nearby villages, Avignon, and Pont du Gard, and Isle sur la Sorgue is only a 5‑minute drive away for a stay or a meal. The downside was that the poolside restaurant wasn’t up to par, and it closed twice a week, leaving only poolside food; a heads‑up at check‑in would have helped.
