“Très bien”

The staff greeted us with free alcohol, an aperitif cake, and a bottle of water. The bed was comfortable, and even the ground‑floor balcony offered a view of the port. We could leave our luggage on arrival and departure days, and the staff were friendly and quick to respond, even picking us up in a car at 23:00 even though the hotel is less than a 5‑minute walk from the port. The shower, however, only had a curtain and no shower tray; water drained into a hole in the middle of the bathroom, so after showering it was inconvenient to use the toilet or brush teeth until the floor dried, though it did dry quickly. Apart from that, everything was perfect.

It’s a pleasant place with friendly owners. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed comfortable, but the pillows were unbearably hard—like stone—and having several of the same type didn’t help; ideally you’d want two per person with different firmness. The shower was old‑school, the whole bathroom was just a shower. There were plates and cutlery, handy if you want to cook your own food. All rooms have a balcony overlooking the sea, though ours had a limited view. A drying rack outside would be nice. The location is good, and they pick you up at the port, which is appreciated, though you could walk there in just 5 minutes. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work for us. I think the island has price issues; this hotel was the most expensive we paid across the five islands we visited (including Santorini and Mykonos, some even with a pool and breakfast). In short, it’s clean, well‑located, but pricey.
