After staying in Brittany, we can say that Dinan looks like Mako and Gael. They are the owners and hosts of La Tocade del Arte: when we arrived they welcomed us into their home and offered us good cider. Every morning a very colorful table awaited us, well presented and finely set. Breakfast was very abundant and varied day to day. The house is full of artwork, but also of colors and music: this accompanied us all mornings during our breakfasts. The rooms are very spacious and the presence of colors is reflected in the curtains and linens. The bathroom is also in tune: the "salle de bain" is rather large and offers every type of comfort. Another important detail is definitely the presence of the hosts, who helped make our stay exceptional. The morning ended with pleasant conversations in front of what they had to offer. The talks varied and allowed other guests to join: they switched from French to English, sometimes also from Spanish, the mother tongue of the host. The multiple conversations turned a simple table into a united Europe.

These 3 days spent with our hosts were exceptional. Gael and Mako cared only about making us happy. Before enjoying our days, an excellent varied and balanced breakfast was prepared for us. Our hosts always gave good advice for the best restaurants or ideas for walks between Dinan, Dinard… and activity suggestions. (The boat trip on the Rance Canal was top!) We especially appreciated the exchanges with Mako and Gael, their kindness, generosity, humor, and also their discretion. Thanks for that.

We loved this guesthouse. Everything was exceptional. The house has a charm and an uncommon soul. Likewise Gaël and Maco, who are undeniably kind and gentle. The breakfasts every day different were fresh, original and gigantic. As for the location, one cannot dream better: close to the port but far enough to park the car in front of the cottage for free. And the bedding is remarkably comfortable. We did not like leaving this magical place.

We were warmly welcomed and could park our e‑bikes and the bike rack in the workshop below. The host couple does everything with a lot of love and passion. At reception there was a very tasty bottle of cider and many good tips for the stay. The two rooms are very lovingly and individually designed. In the morning there were always new tasty things for breakfast and one could also make extra requests. The street behind the house down to the harbor offers enough free and safe parking. The harbor and the old town of Dinan can be reached on foot. It was a wonderful stay with you – many thanks! The fact that one cannot lock the room and bathroom from inside or outside is a bit unusual.
