Lavica airport Catania B&b

Well located for the airport, though walking with a big suitcase is very difficult due to the road condition. It takes about a good half hour. The area is very popular and dirty. Warning: SHARED ACCOMMODATION! That was not clear in the ad! The parent suite is very decent. The kitchen is in bad condition. No plates or forks for eating. Difficult to use the stove. The kettle doesn't work and there were no coffee pods. Breakfast was almost nonexistent (only tea bags, water, sugar, and small plastic biscuits). Basically a place only to get through before the flight.

I booked a single night at B&B Lavica Airport Catania, and it was spot on for a quick overnight before an early flight. If you’re arriving late, it works just as well as a nearby sleep spot. The airport is literally a 10‑minute walk—maybe even less if you’re a brisk walker. I was a bit nervous about walking in the dark, but the path was well lit, the walk was short, and I felt completely safe. The room was basic but had everything you’d need: a TV, air conditioning, a couch, and a surprisingly comfortable bed that far exceeded my expectations. The kitchen had the usual appliances, a fridge, and everything you’d realistically need for a short stay. Check‑in was smooth; I told the host my arrival time and he was there waiting, so no issues. I wouldn’t stay longer in Catania here because it’s far from the city centre and there are cheaper options closer to the attractions, but for a one‑night pre‑flight or post‑arrival stop, it’s absolutely perfect—convenient, comfortable, safe, and incredibly close to the airport.
