The police arrested two people on different days, so I was relieved that they were trying to enforce the law. However, homeless people slept outside our door, and there was trash and drug activity at midnight, which was atrocious and made my wife cry. As a mental‑health worker who doesn't earn much, I could have left and fought for our $700 back, but we couldn't afford to fight later. I bought new pillows and borrowed sheets and a blanket from relatives in California. I'm from Boston, from the poor side, and I don't recommend this place unless you can't afford an extra $50 a day. I promise you'll feel sick to your stomach, your wife may cry and slap your face, but you will deserve it, so you are warned.

Today I approached the woman in the office and asked her to give me a remote for my TV because the one I had wasn't working. She said sorry but I'd have to wait until tomorrow, even though I had already paid almost $500 to stay in this room. With that amount of money, you would expect better customer service. Victory. The customer service seems to be a problem in this facility today. I approached the woman in the office and requested a different remote for my TV or a move to a room where the TV works. She told me it was near the weekend and that other customers were coming, and she didn't want to inconvenience them. Here I am now, and she can't assist me; she said I'd have to wait till tomorrow. I told her I wanted to watch TV tonight for God's sake. All I got was a sorry from her. Well, I'm sorry I came here now.
