The staff and the atmosphere were good, but the rooms are a bit outdated.

The staff are very accommodating and warm, ready to help and respond to your concerns; the old amenities are still functional and in good condition, but there are mosquitoes so bring repellent, and a few comfort rooms have an unpleasant odor.

The property is kept in good shape, even though it has a vintage feel. The dining area is spacious and the living room is cozy and open to everyone, with extra tables at the back for more seating. A fridge and microwave are provided free of charge, and overall the place is worth the price. The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and professional—definitely the highlight of our stay. We were scheduled to check in at 2 PM but arrived much earlier; they let us store luggage for free and finally checked us in at 12 PM. We left at 12 PM but were still allowed to use the dining room for lunch at no cost. The floors are wooden, and because we were on the ground floor, the occupants above us were noisy in the middle of the night, disturbing our sleep. I mentioned this at the front desk and the guests eventually behaved. The hotel isn’t well known, so you need to give most drivers directions. If you’re looking for a place near Burnham Park or Session Road, this isn’t it. Breakfast is free but portions are small, and the shower heater isn’t warm enough, though that’s not a major issue.

The staff were very welcoming and hospitable, and they served an exceptional breakfast to our group. The place was too noisy, from the loud traffic outside to the children’s noise on the stairs. The ground floor room was smelly, had bed bugs, and I spotted a tiny rat. The other rooms were clean and decent.
