Sun & Moon Hostel

Communication with the hostel reception was smooth, and the location is great. The rooms felt a bit cramped and claustrophobic, which is the downside if you want the location at that price. More hanging space and shelves in the bathroom would help—perhaps two more hooks and two shelves outside the shower. The kitchen area isn’t very clean; not everyone washes their dishes. I’d like the cleaning staff to check there once more per day.

The hostel has a great location on the same street as supermarkets, many cafés, and fast‑food spots like McDonald’s. I stayed one night and here’s what I thought: It’s a hostel that feels like a factory—large, several floors, good space on the lower level, a small kitchen. Check‑in was quick. Other positives: a private bathroom in the room (plus shared ones), good beds, rich wildlife—during the day I saw a large cockroach (or beetle) and a tiny lizard (probably a hatchling). The downsides that stood out during my short stay: the storage boxes under the beds are a sad choice—uncomfortable, too heavy to move, and my backpack didn’t fit. The LED strip lighting under the beds is confusing—why does it need to stay on all the time? The shower water overflows the rim, making the floor very wet, and you constantly have to press the tap to keep water flowing.

The location is great, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The place is clean. Verrisimo performed wonderfully!

The AC is noisy, the pillows feel uncomfortable, the bed wasn't cleaned properly, and I even found hair on the pillow.

The location is good, but the facilities are old and there are too many rooms for the limited infrastructure.
