The check‑in could have been done at 12 pm, it was straightforward and the place was really clean. I, however, stood outside a closed door and didn’t know how to get into my room; no one answered the phone. I walked over to the China Restaurant next door, they called the hotel manager who showed me the room and handed me the key. The room only had the absolute essentials, felt very bare‑bones, and the location was too pricey.

I appreciated the personal touch; after calling, someone arrived immediately to show me the room and explained the furnishings politely. The setup was very Spartan, but nothing was broken and everything stayed clean. For the short stay it was enough, though the mattress felt a bit too soft. I would have liked paper towels or a hand dryer in the bathroom.
