The staff were very helpful. I had to change rooms after one night because I joined a tour, and the staff made the transition seamless.

“für eine Nacht in Ordnung”

The location is great, right in the city centre, and a room with a city view is fantastic, but I wouldn’t book a courtyard view – you get no view at all. The room’s furnishings are okay, the bathroom has very little storage, but overall it’s acceptable. The underground parking is directly below. The service, honestly, was a disaster: we had a major emergency and received no help, which is a no‑go for a hotel of this type; we had to solve it ourselves. Breakfast was chaotic, the staff were frantic and unorganised, and if we’d just had breakfast in the front café it would have been better than the included breakfast, which we couldn’t even book separately. We’d rather have skipped it; the cappuccino was the only highlight. The front lounge is very “sweet” for sitting, but the door is a nuisance – it’s hard to get back to your table with a plate and a drink. The elevator was constantly broken and out of service: sometimes the door opened and it went to the floors, sometimes you were stuck on the street, sometimes it wouldn’t move at all, and this kept happening. I would not book this hotel again; there are definitely better options. The location is great, but don’t rely on it.

I landed right in front of the town square and was handed a large, airy room with special bathroom features. The receptionist greeted us warmly upon arrival and we felt taken care of immediately. Breakfast was great, everyone was smiling and friendly, and the service throughout the hotel was entirely positive and helpful. Everything was fine.
