The Standard Double Room offers pool views and a private entrance. It sleeps four guests on two beds, and the air‑conditioned space includes a flat‑screen TV with streaming services, a tea and coffee maker, and a washing machine. The private bathroom is equipped with a shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer.
The place was close to shops, but the room felt old and the plugs were loose so cords kept falling out. The morning before we left the power cut out in our room, forcing us to get ready in the dark; one guest using a CPAP machine couldn’t sleep because there was no electricity. We were very disappointed that nobody called back to apologise or offer compensation.
“I like the hotel a lot but is time to update it”
The location was good and the staff were friendly and helpful, but the hotel feels old; after three years here the A/C needs a replacement and the bed sheets are worn.

It’s well‑situated with an outdoor pool, and a Walmart nearby can replace the awful pillows. Despite the exterior looking clean and supposedly renovated, the rooms are completely outdated. The worn rugs, mattresses from the 1970s, and especially the two flat, stained mini‑pillows are the worst. The main beach and the “Bordwalk” are supposedly being demolished to build condos in 2026, but nothing has been done yet.
