We spent two nights here, and the spot was gorgeous and very quiet. The property even hosts two adorable turtles that you can see. The bed felt rock hard, and the shower pressure was mediocre, but we managed with just those two nights. The bathroom door in our room wouldn’t close properly. Aside from that, it was a solid budget-friendly stay!

“Décevant”

The view of the street along the river was nice. The rooms on the water were too Spartan – no sheets, no AC, no toilets (it was warmer inside than outside). Luckily, by paying extra we could switch rooms. Breakfast wasn’t offered; you could only grab a drink. It’s a shame because the place is beautiful; it must have had a golden age, but it’s not that anymore.

Everything was fine. I booked the private room with a shared bathroom, but it turned out to be a floating room, so I had to change it. The staff were great and helped me out. The bed, however, is very hard.

“Would definitely stay again and will be recommending to friends”

I stayed in the double cabin on the lakeside, and it was very cheap for what it offered. Waking up to a stunning river view with mountains in the background was a treat. The room was basic, which is exactly what you’d expect for the price, and the double bed was comfy. Power outlets were beside the bed, the lighting was good, and a fan pointed directly at the bed so it never got warm. The downside was the flies and mosquitoes, but that’s to be expected so close to the water; it’s not the hostels’ fault.

The staff were friendly and the location was great, right near the bridge, museum, and train station. Everything else was within walking distance.
