It was incredibly quiet, allowing me to relax completely; the meals were perfectly portioned, not too much, just right. The hot springs in Yugawara were truly wonderful— I liked Yugawara far more than Hakone. No real drawbacks.

I was pleased with the quality of the spring water and the bed, which was very comfortable. The view from the window was also lovely, and I think the hotel's surroundings are at their best during the autumn foliage, cherry blossom, and new greenery seasons. However, I felt that the room was quite spacious but lacked a comfortable seating area, and the sofa was quite small.

Unfortunately, the lack of blackout curtains meant that I was woken up by the early morning sunlight, which wasn't ideal. Overall, my stay was quite disappointing, and I didn't find much to appreciate about the hotel.

The meals were not only delicious but also wonderfully imaginative, showcasing the culinary skills of the hotel's chefs. However, it's worth noting that the service was so flawless that it sometimes felt a bit too perfect, but overall, it was a truly exceptional experience.
